Common questions
Everything you need to know about buying and selling on Vault with escrow protection.
What is Vault Escrow and how does it protect buyers?+
When a buyer pays, Vault receives the money and holds it safely. A conversation opens between buyer and seller to coordinate the deal. If the transaction completes, the seller gets paid. If it is cancelled, the buyer receives a full refund.
What is the minimum listing price on Vault?+
The minimum listing price is ₹50,000. Every listing goes through seller verification and escrow is available on completed deals.
How long does the escrow process take?+
Most deals move at the pace you and the other party agree on in chat. Once both sides confirm, funds are released the same day. Refunds on cancelled transactions are processed promptly.
What fees does Vault charge?+
Vault charges a 2.5% escrow fee on completed transactions, split equally between buyer and seller. There are no listing fees for verified sellers.
How are items authenticated before delivery?+
Each category has dedicated specialists: certified horologists for watches, licensed appraisers for art and jewelry, PPI inspectors for vehicles, and legal coordinators for real estate. Authentication reports are shared with both parties.
Can I sell on Vault as an individual?+
Yes. Individual sellers can list after identity verification and a short review by our team. Business sellers receive a verified badge after additional checks.
